Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides professional nursing care to patients across Med/Surg, Rehab, and Geri Psych units, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered treatment. Responsible for coordinating and documenting care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Render comprehensive nursing care and implement provider orders within assigned units.
• Communicate patient information effectively during shift reports, rounds, and hourly updates.
• Maintain clinical documentation, including care plans and reassessment notes each shift.
• Participate in safety initiatives, quality assurance, and performance improvement activities.
• Serve as a preceptor and mentor new staff and nursing students, fostering professional development.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to optimize patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications:

• Current New Hampshire RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Graduate of an approved Nursing program preferred.
• Basic Dysrhythmia knowledge or certification obtained prior to orientation completion.
• Experience in Med/Surg, Rehab, or Geri Psych nursing preferred.
• CPI training preferred or obtained before completing orientation.
