Secure Mailroom Supervisor: Lead & Mail Ops

Job Description We are seeking a Mailroom Supervisor for our secure facility. The supervisor will manage the processing of U.S. and interdepartmental mail, parcels, and packages, and supervise staff. Responsibilities Supervise mailroom staff and evaluate performance. Receive, sort, distribute, and deliver incoming and interdepartmental mail, parcels, and packages. Process certified and registered mail. Compute postage rates and meter outgoing mail and packages. Inspect mail received by inmates/residents for contraband in accordance with company policy. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. Two years of mailroom operations experience. Valid driver's license. At least 21 years of age. Preferred Qualifications One year supervisory experience. Strong organizational, observational, and detail-oriented skills. Experience with Microsoft Office and other software applications.
