Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:


Provide specialized nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum to ensure safe and effective childbirth experiences. Collaborate with healthcare teams to support maternal and neonatal health in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess laboring patients to monitor fetal and maternal well-being.
• Administer medications and perform interventions as ordered by physicians.
• Support patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period.
• Document clinical observations, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Educate patients and family on labor process and post-delivery care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care during shifts.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric and neonatal care protocols.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR and NRP certifications required.
