Seasonal Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

This is a seasonal travel RN position in Labor and Delivery. The unit has 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, and 3 labor and delivery operating rooms. The staffing matrix consists of 8-10 staff for night shifts and 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters for day shifts. Patient ratios are approximately 2:1 and 1:1 with complicated patients. The equipment used includes FHR monitors, fetal scalp electrodes, and EMR systems. Typical procedures performed on the unit include vaginal deliveries and c-section deliveries. The RN will be responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum patients. Candidates with experience in Mom/Baby, Pediatrics, and/or NICU will be prioritized. The ideal candidate is flexible, friendly, and dependable.
