Licensed Practical Nurse

Assist in directing nursing services for a unit, under RN supervision, following the Nursing Practice Act. Delegate duties to nursing staff and monitor performance. Observe patients for symptoms, reactions, and signs of adverse changes. Notify physicians of emergencies and patient changes; implement physician orders. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma and graduation from an accredited Nursing School. Valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing with biannual renewal proof. Willingness to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies to ensure coverage. Ability to deliver quality care, follow doctor’s orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
