Resident Aide – Assisted Living

The Oaks | Zanesville, Ohio

The Oaks is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate Resident Aides to join our Assisted Living team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by providing support, companionship, and assistance with daily living needs.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents

• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed

• Help residents maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment

• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions or needs to the appropriate team members

• Assist with meals, hydration, and other daily routines

• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members

• Follow individualized care plans and facility policies and procedures

• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred, but not always required
