Senior Clinical Trial Associate

Cogent Biosciences seeks a Senior Clinical Trial Associate to support the planning, execution, and closeout of clinical trials. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, sites, and vendors while maintaining study documentation, tracking deliverables, and ensuring quality and compliance across assigned trials.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, execution, and closeout activities for assigned clinical trials with growing independence
• Serve as operational liaison with internal teams, investigative sites, and external vendors for timely communication
• Oversee site management activities including monitoring reports, visit tracking, and issue escalation
• Coordinate study meetings and maintain comprehensive study records and regulatory documentation
• Review vendor performance, track deliverables and timelines, and ensure data quality and process improvements

Requirements

• Clinical operations or trial management experience, preferably in biotechnology or pharmaceutical settings
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in regulatory documentation and trial conduct standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience with clinical trial management systems and study trackers
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams with increasing autonomy and ownership
