Outpatient Program/Intake Nurse - RN

Overview Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is an innovative behavioral health hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix, Arizona metro area. Our 120-bed facility will offer specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults and older adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders and co‑occurring addictions. Responsibilities The Outpatient Program/Intake Nurse assumes primary responsibility for assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patients within the outpatient facility. They are responsible for intake assessments and managing referral sources. This RN assumes leadership responsibilities at the unit level and demonstrates mastery of clinical skills related to patient mental health and physical health needs. Qualifications Current license to practice nursing in Arizona or compact privileges. Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric setting, preferably an outpatient PHP or IOP facility. Must have or be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
