Our client located in Woodbury is looking to hire a purchasing clerk ASAP. In this role as a purchasing clerk you will be responsible for supporting the needs of the department and procures, orders, and maintains inventory for the organization. You will act as a liaison between vendors and internal departments by preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and managing supply discrepancies. This role ensures smooth supply chain operations and business continuity. Experience with billing and date entry is a huge plus. Experience with IBM AS400 is a BIG plus.
Proficiency with excel is a huge plus as well as the various Microsoft products but not required. The hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Salary is based upon experience but they offer a competitive range of $23.00 - $25.00 per hour depending upon experience. They also offer a full benefits package.
