Production Control SupervisorLMT ONSRUD - Waukegan, IL 60085OverviewSalary Range $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 Salary/yearDescriptionRESPONSIBILITIES :The Production Control Supervisor reports to the Director of Supply Chain Management & Materials, while supporting other areas, including Inside Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Shipping. The Supervisor is expected to supervisor the Production Control Clerk/Expeditor(s), establish, and coordinate the production schedule, ensuring the flow of materials between departments.DUTIES :Prepare and maintain a production schedule for jobs, review/adjust the schedule where needed in the Web Scheduler software.Ensure efficient collaboration and communication between departmentsRun the Morning Huddle Production Meeting.Maintain suggested inventory stock levels through Enterprise Planning.Meet or exceed on time delivery on customer due dates and specials.Open/close work orders, Issues material, and completes Sage transactions daily.Follow through on expedited requests.Communicate with Management on any customer order concerns.Ensures team follows all operating, health/safety procedures, and quality standards.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEDUCATION :Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceEXPERIENCE :Minimum of 3 years' scheduling experience requiredFamiliar with ISO Standards and ERP/Scheduling systems.Experience with ERP and Scheduling software, preferably Sage X3 and Web Scheduler.SKILLS:Knowledge of management, and Lean production principles.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Planning, Time, and Organization Management.High Communication and Decision-making skills.Promotes Teamwork
