AAP Analyst II- TEMP Role

AAP Analyst II – Temporary Role (3 Months) This role is designed to support firm attorneys and clients in government-mandated employment and labor reporting. The incumbent will work closely with attorneys and analysts to gather, clean, analyze, and report large sets of employment data. Responsibilities Analyze employment‑related data sets using tools such as R and MS Excel. Compile and validate data from various sources, ensuring quality through cleaning methods and tests. Work directly with clients to obtain corrected data as needed. Create government‑required workforce reports (e.g., EEO‑1, VETS, California Pay, Minnesota Department of Human Rights). Support attorneys in preparing and defending reports that may be subject to audit. Research data sources (e.g., U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics) to meet project needs. Prepare ad‑hoc reports, graphics, and presentations for client use. Communicate daily with clients and attorneys. Qualifications BS/BA or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience with human capital data and government‑mandated reporting. Strong MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, graphing, table management, and limited VBA. Strong organization, problem‑solving, critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to follow general instructions and work independently with supervision. High personal accountability and attention to detail. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when necessary. Preferred Skills Experience with programming languages and data manipulation tools such as Stata, R, or Python. Background in economics, statistics, mathematics, or another quantitative field. Background in human resources data and experience with government workforce and labor reporting. Experience reconciling large data sets. Salary The hourly rate ranges from $35.20 to $40.50, depending on experience. Compensation is determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
