Job Title

Travel RN – ICU Float Pool

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an ICU float pool setting, adapting to varying unit needs across the facility
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for critically ill patients
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic health record
• Adhere to facility protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to float across ICU units as assigned
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a high-acuity environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care setting
• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit capacity
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care environments
