Rate of Pay: $20.14/hr-  Up to $40 an hour paid for applicants with previous manufacturing experience

Job Summary:
Perform all required duties relating to receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within the establishment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist OSP Coordinator with daily preparation of incoming and outgoing outside service shipments.
• Responsible for acceptance and movement of shipments from the OSP shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
• Prepares bills of lading.
• Communicate as needed with shipping personnel for review of orders returning from external suppliers.
• Ability to use the computer to enter and maintain inventory records.
• Perform Oracle receiving transactions as needed for OSP and warehouse items.
• May be required to perform additional OSP and various warehouse functions as needed
• Work according to charge log schedule to cut required metal charges.
• Support foundry metal requirements as determined by the foundry schedule and/or caster.
• Complete required documentation maintaining all alloys in proper containers by job lot number.
• Fills requisitions or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Drives forklift to transport items between warehouse and plant.
• Ability to use the computer to enter and maintain inventory records.
• Restocks, sorts, places and labels materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined location.
• Ability to maintain core control and inspection.
• Complete raw material cycle counts as required by the accounting department.
• Responsible for adherence to all safety polices, practices and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: No prior experience required as we provide training, but prior manufacturing or mechanical experience is a plus!
• Computer skills: Basic computer skills are needed
• Certifications/Licenses: Forklift license required
• Language skills : Ability to write routine reports and inventory records. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees in the organization. 
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• The ability to be reliable , work overtime as needed, and be committed to working at our Chittenango, NY facility.

Working Conditions:

• Frequently work near moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally exposed to outside weather
• The physical effort applied in this job includes lifting, pulling, reaching, manipulating, carrying, pushing, or shoveling.
• Manufacturing requires repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and arms.
