Assignment Overview

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in the Emergency Room to join our healthcare team in Anderson, IN. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in managing a range of emergency situations and patient populations, from neonates to geriatric patients. Candidates with at least one year of ER experience and a willingness to work in a high-paced environment are encouraged to apply.

• Shift Details: 12-hour nights, 19:00 - 07:00
• Weekend Coverage: Every third weekend, shifts as needed and agreed upon
• Assignment Length: 1 year
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2214 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Manage general emergency department care for combined adult and pediatric patients
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Administer blood products
• Care for and manage central lines
• Perform phlebotomy and start IVs
• Administer continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors
• Provide care for CVA, orthopedic trauma, head injuries, and near drownings
• Interpret ABGs and maintain isolation precautions

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience with Pyxis, MediTech, and Vocera systems
• Proficiency in emergency department skills for adult and pediatric patients

Preferred:

• Experience with Meditech charting system
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications
