About Houston ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. - ExxonMobil is seeking both contractors and full-time employees across various roles to provide reservoir engineering technical expertise to Conventional Oil & Gas development Work with multi-discipline teams to support optimal asset development, reservoir management, and site screening
- Leverage fundamental reservoir engineering and reservoir simulation skills in reservoir characterization, development planning, opportunity generation, and production/injection optimization
- The position is located at ExxonMobil campus in Spring, Texas
- Performing reservoir modeling and simulation to support conventional and/or deepwater developments
- Conducting reservoir depletion planning and field development planning
- Performing reserves assessments and identifying production or injection optimization opportunities
- Planning, evaluation and/or execution of appraisal and field development / drill well programs
- Identifying key reservoir uncertainties and providing recommendations to mitigate risks
- Improving reservoir description through fluid analysis, core evaluation, well testing interpretation, and production performance analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required - preferably Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical; Advanced Degrees (Master's / PhD) also welcome
- Minimum of 8 and maximum of 20 years of industry experience in Conventional Reservoir Engineering
- Reservoir simulation experience in new developments and/or producing assets (including constructing, updating and history matching models)
- INTERSECT / Eclipse Reservoir Simulation experience
- Candidates should be self-motivated and focused on achieving business results while working in a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced business environment. Demonstrated teamwork and strong communication skills are essential
- Previous experience in reservoir analytical performance prediction, asset development and depletion planning, reserves assessment, reservoir surveillance & optimization, volumes forecasting, economic analysis and data management
