Embrace an exciting opportunity to work as a School Psychologist in vibrant K-12 environments. This contract role provides the chance to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development across several school sites within a welcoming community. Travel assignments in Monroe County await, with fully onsite placements ensuring direct connection to students and interdisciplinary teams.
The assignment begins August 12, 2026, and continues through June 2, 2027, offering a consistent, school-year schedule averaging 37.5 hours per week. Multiple positions are available, serving diverse school settings and age groups from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist license (verification required)
- Prior experience as a School Psychologist preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and behavioral intervention skills
- Commitment to serving students in-person (onsite role only; remote/virtual not an option)
- Flexibility and enthusiasm in supporting varying student needs across multiple sites
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educators and families
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs
- Provide consultation and support for teachers, staff, and parents
- Implement evidence-based strategies to foster student well-being
- Support positive school climates and learning environments across several locations
