General Production Worker

Production OperatorAs a Production Operator, you will work in various areas of the shop, gaining cross-training on a variety of equipment and manufacturing processes. This hands-on position offers an excellent opportunity to build valuable manufacturing and mechanical skills.ResponsibilitiesOperate stamping presses to form and shape metal parts.Work alongside robotic welders and automated production equipment.Load and unload materials and finished products.Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided).Perform quality inspections using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.Read basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.Complete machine safety checks and basic equipment maintenance tasks.Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.Essential SkillsExperience in production and machine operation.Ability to perform general labor and assembly tasks.Proficiency in machine operating and general production.Forklift operation skills.Ability to use a tape measure.Mechanical troubleshooting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsReliable attendance and strong work ethic.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Mechanical aptitude or experience using hand tools is a plus.Ability to follow instructions and work safely.Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the shift.Capability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.Why Work Here?Enjoy weekly pay with a tiered shift differential based on tenure, PTO, and paid holidays. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
