Base pay range $34.00/hr - $35.00/hr Technical writers must understand grammatical conventions and write in a clear and fluent manner. Technical writers should be highly self-motivated and autonomous workers. Technical writers must be excellent researchers so they can accurately explain their topic to the reader. This will require the ability to learn new technologies, read drawings, and write technical information in clear and concise language.
