Job Title: Printer Technician

Work Location: 5200 Harry Hines Blvd Dallas TX 75235

Pay Rate: $30/hr

Job Type: 12 months contract

Coverage Hours:

Workday: Start/end time will vary, shift will be 8 hours/day within 7am - 6pm Monday thru Friday, to be scheduled by manager

On-call - Rotation (every 4 weeks): 6pm – 7am Monday thru Friday, 24x7 weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

• 2 - 5 years’ experience in servicing printers, hard copy devices, or imaging products preferred.
• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude. Must have some experience with break/fix on printer/copier, manually fixing and working with the machines.
• Extensive walking between hospital buildings, through various depts on large hospital campus.
• Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push 400 pounds on wheels.

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite support for printers and office equipment at customer locations
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair printers and related devices
• Respond to service calls and complete repairs within required timelines (SLA)
• Deliver and replace printer supplies and parts as needed
• Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Communicate service updates and estimated arrival times to customers
• Train customers on proper equipment usage and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate service records, inventory, and parts tracking
• Perform meter readings and equipment inspections when required
• Follow company safety, reporting, and customer service procedures
• Participate in rotating on-call support schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Maintain professional appearance and communication with customers
• Support large facility operations in an onsite work environment
