To be successful, you should have:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a MUST .
- High school diploma or GED with 6+ months of healthcare customer service or call center experience; prior medical intake or patient support experience preferred; no licensure required
- Proficient with computer systems, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams), data entry platforms, and the ability to navigate EHR/CRM software in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to type 30-35+ WPM, manage time effectively, and work independently
- Handle high-volume inbound call center interactions with patients, providers, and referral sources regarding medical equipment orders, delivery coordination, and service updates
- Complete patient intake, verify insurance coverage, and accurately enter data into electronic health records (EHR) and CRM systems
- Resolve customer service inquiries and complaints, utilizing de-escalation techniques and coordinating with cross-functional healthcare teams
- Schedule deliveries, pickups, and service adjustments while maintaining accurate account records and documentation compliance
- Meet call center performance metrics (KPIs), maintain productivity standards, and participate in ongoing training and quality assurance programs
