Charter School Leader - San Antonio and New Braunfels Region

As a Charter School Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving academic excellence and building a thriving school community. Key Leadership Competencies Successful candidates will demonstrate: Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills to inspire teachers, staff, parents, and students Strong ability to design and implement rigorous academic programs Expertise in instruction, assessment, and data analysis to drive student achievement Strategic use of technology and innovative practices to enhance learning Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-quality educators Commitment to building and sustaining a diverse and inclusive school community Strong community engagement skills to build meaningful partnerships with families and stakeholders Qualifications Master’s Degree or higher required Current Texas SBEC certification required Minimum five years of successful classroom teaching experience in the United States Demonstrated evidence of significant student academic growth Previous administrative or leadership experience required Experience in charter schools preferred Experience across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels strongly preferred Key Responsibilities Instructional Leadership Establish and maintain a high-expectations culture focused on academic excellence Design and oversee implementation of the school’s academic program and curriculum Lead data-driven discussions and continuous improvement cycles focused on student performance Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development to support teacher growth Observe classrooms regularly and ensure the implementation of high-quality instructional practices Implement and oversee state assessment programs and accountability requirements School Operations & Compliance Oversee daily school operations, including campus safety and crisis management Ensure compliance with state, federal, and charter regulatory requirements Manage fiscal responsibilities and execute the Board-approved budget Maintain compliance with funding and reporting requirements Talent Development Recruit, develop, and retain high-quality teachers and staff Foster a professional culture centered on collaboration, accountability, and growth Develop individualized plans to support teacher development and improve instructional practices Family & Community Engagement Build strong partnerships with families and community organizations Promote meaningful parent engagement and communication Lead initiatives and events that strengthen the school’s presence within the community Why Join Our Team?
