Shively Motors is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Chambersburg, PA! This full-time individual contributor role will provide a hands-on approach to automotive service, repair, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and service repairs for all types of vehicles
• Examine vehicles for hazards, defects, and wear and tear to identify necessary repairs
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical components on automotive vehicles
• Inspect, test, adjust, repair, and service vehicles
• Perform physical vehicle inspections and repairs on a variety of makes and models
• Communicate all findings and required repairs with Service Managers
• Order, stock, and manage parts and supplies necessary for repairs
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• ASE or automotive technical certification(s) preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive service, repair, and diagnostics
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to proficiently use hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive service and repair equipment
