Automotive Technician
Shively Motors is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Chambersburg, PA! This full-time individual contributor role will provide a hands-on approach to automotive service, repair, and customer satisfaction. Our ideal candidate will bring their experience, skill, and commitment to excellence to provide exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and service repairs for all types of vehicles
- Examine vehicles for hazards, defects, and wear and tear to identify necessary repairs
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical components on automotive vehicles
- Inspect, test, adjust, repair, and service vehicles
- Perform physical vehicle inspections and repairs on a variety of makes and models
- Communicate all findings and required repairs with Service Managers
- Order, stock, and manage parts and supplies necessary for repairs
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- ASE or automotive technical certification(s) preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive service, repair, and diagnostics
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to proficiently use hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive service and repair equipment
