HVAC Mechanic- Woburn

Position Summary We are seeking a HVAC\/R technician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC\/R systems, DDC control systems, and related equipment at a facility in Woburn, MA, 1st shift (6:00am - 2:30pm). The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Confidential clearance. Responsibilities Work from wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, operating manuals to install, maintain, and repair HVAC\/R equipment. Maintain, repair, and adjust oil\/gas burners and clean heating boiler combustion chambers. Identify and troubleshoot HVAC\/R equipment malfunctions and initiate corrective actions. Maintain and replace controls—including DDC and pneumatic—compressors, pumps, motors, belts, pulleys, shives, bearings. Regulate and maintain climate control for the facility and manufacturing processes. Perform daily inspections, repairs, and general housekeeping of work area, tools, and equipment. Calculate heating\/cooling loads and provide data for modifications. Notify supervision when major repairs or modifications are required. Retrieve materials and stock for assigned work and maintain records. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of trade school experience. Current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician license. Current #608 EPA Universal certification. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain DoD Confidential clearance. Good computer skills and ability to communicate effectively. Reliable, dependable, and available for travel and alternate center assignments.
