Job Title: Safety Technician Job Description

A Construction Safety Technician is responsible for supporting job site safety programs by monitoring compliance with OSHA and company policies. They conduct regular site inspections, identify hazards, and help implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries. The role includes maintaining safety documentation, assisting with incident investigations, and delivering basic safety training to field personnel. They work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety on all active projects. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and knowledge of construction safety standards are essential for success in this position.

• Monitor compliance with OSHA and company safety policies on job sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and records.
• Assist with incident investigations and reporting.
• Deliver basic safety training sessions to field personnel.

The work environment involves active construction sites where safety is a top priority. The role requires interaction with various project stakeholders including project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors. Safety attire is mandatory to ensure compliance with safety standards.

This is a Contract position based out of Rockledge, FL.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
