Mental Health Technician II

Description Pen Bay Hospital Nursing/Clinical Support Req #: 86482 This is a per diem position. An active CNA license is required for this role. Summary: The Mental Health Technician II role is responsible for maintaining a safe and therapeutic setting by conducting technical and supportive care functions for patients. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant course required. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Active Certification on the State of Maine CNA Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Experience: One year experience in a healthcare setting or current enrollment in a healthcare field of study preferred. Six months experience working in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
