Key Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to the care of patients within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
• Educate patients and significant others regarding care, treatment, and health management
• Accurately document patient care in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active or obtainable Oregon RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• PALS certification (AHA)
• TNCC certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or comprehensive emergency department setting
• Familiarity with a broad patient population including pediatric and geriatric cases
