What You’ll Do Own property claims from first notice of loss through resolution Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage and determine coverage Develop estimates using Cotality Guide policyholders through the claims process with clear communication Partner with agents and internal teams to deliver strong outcomes Participation in catastrophe duty as needed. CAT duty can be throughout the United States and can last up to 4 weeks. Communication - preparing reports and written correspondence What You Bring Property claims handling experience or experience in a similar field/industry Estimating platform experience (Xactimate, Cotality, Symbility, etc.) Experience with property inspections and damage assessment Knowledge of dwelling/mobile home construction Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Ability to work in the field, including climbing ladders (40+ lbs) Applicants requiring employer sponsorship of a visa will not be considered for this position. Location & Travel Candidates must be located in or near Lansing, Michigan area and must have flexibility to complete CAT deployment as needed.
