Employment Type: As Needed (PRN) Contract

Job Summary

Vision Quest Solutions is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to support the Indian Health Service at the Mid-Atlantic Tribal Health Center. This position provides outpatient pharmacy services on an as-needed basis to ensure continuity of patient care.

Requirements:

• Process and dispense prescription medications. 
• Maintain patient medication profiles. 
• Assist providers with medication therapy management. 
• Complete medication error investigations and documentation. 
• Provide drug information and education to patients and providers. 
• Maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record. 
• Participate in clinic meetings as requested. 
• Follow all IHS pharmacy policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited program. 
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory. 
• Minimum of 12 months of recent outpatient pharmacy experience within the last 5 years. 
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 
• Board Certified (per solicitation requirements). 
• Professional liability insurance of at least $1M/$3M. 
• Ability to obtain IHS credentialing, privileging, security clearance, and background investigation.  

Schedule

• PRN/As Needed 
• Monday-Friday 
• 8:00 AM-4:30 PM 
• No weekends 
• Federal holidays observed.
