Job Description

As a Security Officer Commercial Building Patrol Monitoring in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to residents, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate:$17.00 - $17.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
