At Canine Country Club, located in West Des Moines, IA, we’re dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for pets while giving their owners peace of mind. We’re looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Pet Care Technician to join our team and help us continue delivering top-notch care to our furry guests.

What You'll Do

As a Pet Care Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of the pets entrusted to us. Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising and interacting with dogs during playtime to ensure their safety and happiness.
Feeding, watering, and administering medications as needed according to instructions.
Cleaning and maintaining a sanitary environment in play areas, kennels, and other facilities.
Observing pet behavior and reporting any concerns to management.
Providing lots of love, attention, and care to pets of all breeds and sizes.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates who are passionate about animal care and meet the following qualifications:

Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with animals, whether in a professional or volunteer capacity.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Attributes: A positive attitude, patience, and a genuine love for animals. You should also be comfortable working in a physically active role.
