Controller

Catalent seeks a Controller for its Greendale, Indiana gummy manufacturing facility to oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance. The role involves managing accounting processes, internal controls, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements compliant with GAAP
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and audit compliance procedures
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes and manage internal and external audits
• Monitor budget and forecast performance; provide variance analysis and strategic insights
• Collaborate with department leaders to support financial decision-making and operational efficiency

Requirements

• High school diploma minimum; bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
• Seven years progressive accounting experience including management responsibilities
• Expert knowledge of US GAAP with strong analytical and consultative approach
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential preferred
• Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and process automation
• Leadership capability to challenge assumptions and manage complex financial analysis
