Resident Care Coordinator – Assisted Living - Kansas

Trustwell Living at Kent Place is hiring a   Full-Time Resident Care Coordinator . This is a hands-on non-office job that includes Scheduling, Managing call-outs, Caregiving, medication passing, and people skills.  

Job Requirements:

• Must possess a current  Medication Assistance Certificate from a state-recognized medication assistance program if required by state. 
• Must have prior experience (minimum 2 years) with passing medications and caring for elders, with an outstanding work history record.
• Must be willing and able to work the floor as a caregiver/med tech if unable to find coverage for any shifts, and perform caregiving and medication technician positions across all shifts.
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to communicate both written and orally in English'
• Assisting with new employee orientation as needed and coordinating training for new caregiving staff.
• Must be willing to take a 24-hour call on a rotating basis. As well as any other tasks assigned by the Administration.

• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations.
• Must have critical thinking skills to solve problems, make on-the-spot decisions, and handle conflict when necessary.
