Job Summary
Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician in Lewiston, ME. This role involves supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced, Level 3 trauma hospital, performing a variety of surgical procedures with vascular experience required. The position ensures sterile technique and patient safety during operative procedures.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA and/or Certification Scrub Tech (NCCT)
• Education Requirements and Experience: 0 years of experience required, with a minimum of 2 years of vascular experience preferred
• Location: Lewiston, ME
• Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Responsibilities include supporting surgical teams across a variety of specialties including orthopedics, gynecology, plastics, robotics, and urology, with an emphasis on aseptic technique and scrub procedures
• Additional notes: Level 2-3 Main Operating Room performing cardiac, ortho, gyn, gen, ent, urology, plastics, robotics, podiatry, endoscopy. Out-of-state travel required.
• Unit details: 8 beds, approximately 575 cases per month, patient ratios tailored to a busy surgical environment
