Customer Service Representative (Flexible Working Hours)

Overview Destination Pet is a national pet‑care company that offers daycare, boarding, grooming, training, veterinary services, and more. The Customer Service Representative at Zionsville Country Kennels will serve as the front‑line face of the business, welcoming pet parents and their pets, handling appointments, and promoting services. Key Responsibilities Welcome pet parents and pets, giving a 5‑star greeting. Answer phones, email, and chat with a friendly tone while handling multiple lines. Conduct facility tours and sell available services. Verify that all vaccinations are up to date. Manage check‑ins and check‑outs, including handling cash, cards and balancing the end‑of‑day drawer. Address customer complaints with patience and professionalism. Escort pets to and from enclosures and maintain a clean lobby. Assist other team members as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of customer service or retail experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable using multi‑line phone systems and computer POS systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Physical ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently. Benefits & Pay Telehealth, 401(k), and pet insurance. Pay starts at $14.00–$16.00/hour DOE plus tips.
