Clinical Intern Reports To: Supervisor within Clinical and Crisis Services Division This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 during a single calendar week (Monday - Sunday). Position Overview Intern works within the Clinical and Crisis Services Division on assigned cases, projects and tasks while being exposed to the company culture and working environment. Essential Job Functions Assists supervisor with clinical meetings, support plan developments, and support service delivery Participates in outreach and other meetings with individuals/systems of support as determined by their supervisor Maintains the confidentiality of any information relating to individuals and employees of the organization Duties and Responsibilities Assists in the development of PowerPoint presentations Always communicates in a respectful manner with all valued stakeholders including the people we support, supervisors, other valued team members, and members of the community Performs other duties as assigned Education, Work Experience, and Competencies College undergraduate with degree in human services or related field Computer literacy required Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with flexibility, keeping others informed and anticipating needs is essential Must be efficient, well organized, have excellent communication skills and proficient writing skills with grasp of basic grammar and spelling Physical Demands Employee is required to sit, walk and stand for prolonged period of time (at least 8 hours) Employee is required to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Employee is required to operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax and filing cabinets Employee is required to be able to lift items of limited weight when needed FREE is an equal opportunity employer and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other protected characteristic.
