Senior Consultant - Credit Risk and Commercial Lending

Responsibilities Lead IT projects for banks, bringing value through deep understanding of business processes. Support clients with your knowledge by acting as an advisor. Act as a team leader, facilitating client workshops and driving communication as needed by the project. Conduct complex business analysis, define functional requirements, and design solutions. Mentor junior team members and collaborate with software developers and IT architects. Build relations with key stakeholders based on substantive knowledge and being seen as a trustworthy advisor. Lead B2B sales efforts, including cross‑selling and up‑selling. Coordinate preparation of proposals, present proposals to the clients’ key stakeholders. Communicate effectively with clients, even in challenging or high‑pressure situations, while managing their expectations. Qualifications At least 7 years of professional experience in IT projects for US banks, preferably in Credit Risk or Commercial Lending area. Comprehensive understanding of how banks operate, deep understanding of credit origination/lending processes and risk assessment. Knowledge and understanding of banking credit/lending regulations in the US. Experience in functional design and implementation of IT solutions in a role of PM/coordinator and/or Lead BA. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients. Creativity, resourcefulness, and proactivity in solving complex problems. Strong analytical thinking and synthesis skills to ensure the quality of your team’s deliverables. Demonstrated team management skills and accountability for team results. Nice to Haves Experience working in implementation‑related consulting, or with any commercial lending solutions. Experience in implementation‑related or strategic consulting, particularly in Commercial Banking. Ability to build lasting and positive relationships with the client and members of the managed team. Compensation 110 000 – 180 000 USD gross yearly. The final salary offer may fall outside the given brackets depending on your education, experience, and location.
