About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Scaled Operations and Transformation in the AI&D space. This pivotal role is focused on leading the operating system, enablement, and cross-functional mechanisms to enhance the consistency, scalability, and performance of AI&D. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating AI&D strategy into clear operating standards, decision rights, and performance mechanisms. Key responsibilities include defining and evolving AI&D operating models, establishing repeatable ways of working, and leading continuous improvement efforts. The role also involves leading four integrated capabilities: operating excellence, continuous improvement, partner enablement, and enterprise AI literacy. The AVP will serve as an enterprise integrator, connecting the AI&D leadership team with various functions and external partners to remove friction and accelerate execution. Candidates for this executive position should have a Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree with a significant amount of transformation experience, and a strong background in technology, AI/data, digital transformation, operations, or related disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and scaling enterprise operating models, leading global teams, and influencing senior executives. Experience in biopharma, life sciences, and regulated environments is highly valued. The role requires a leader who can inspire, accelerate, integrate, and adapt, and who is dedicated to the mission of serving patients. The AVP will be evaluated on the adoption and effectiveness of AI&D operating standards, improvement in execution speed, quality of partner engagement, and the impact of AI literacy and capability development.
