Overview

We are seeking a passionate dental hygienist who enjoys fostering and maintaining positive relationships with patients to become a part of our team!

Our group of dental hygienists carries out a range of preventive dental procedures while also educating patients about oral hygiene. From routine cleanings to providing guidance on oral health, you will play a vital role in assisting our patients in achieving and sustaining their optimal smiles. Beyond technical responsibilities, the dental hygienist will be essential in instructing patients on effective oral hygiene practices and offering advice on nutrition and its effects on oral health.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver oral hygiene services, including thorough and gentle prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polishing restorations, and applying cavity prevention agents such as fluorides and sealants.
• Accurately document and review patient dental histories, update periodontal health records, and securely manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist the dentist as needed.
• Administer local anesthetics, if permitted by the dental practice act.

• You have Control Over Your Schedule . As a dental hygienist here, you will collaborate with the front office staff to optimize your appointment scheduling. We want you to maximize your time with each patient without feeling rushed. Additionally, you will work alongside the dentist(s) and support staff to establish a strong recall program.

Required Qualifications

• A degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Strong time management skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
• Willingness to travel between locations is preferred.
