Our team is committed to delivering exceptional service and personalized care while creating a supportive and professional workplace.Position SummaryThe Resident Care Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Assisted Living care team by managing caregiver and medication technician schedules and ensuring consistent, high-quality care for our residents. This role partners closely with the Director of Health & Wellness to maintain proper staffing levels, support team communication, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesScheduling & StaffingCreate and manage schedules for caregivers and medication techniciansEnsure staffing levels meet resident care needs and census requirementsHandle call-outs, shift coverage, and last-minute staffing adjustmentsMonitor overtime and support efficient scheduling practicesTeam Support & CommunicationServe as the primary point of contact for care staff scheduling needsCommunicate schedule updates and changes clearly and timelySupport onboarding schedules and training shifts for new hiresTrack attendance trends and escalate concerns to leadershipResident Care CoordinationPartner with the Director of Health & Wellness to align staffing with resident care plansSupport communication between shifts to ensure continuity of careAssist with coordination of care needs as requiredCompliance & OperationsEnsure schedules meet regulatory and community staffing requirementsMaintain accurate staffing and attendance recordsSupport audits and documentation requests as neededRequirementsQualifications2+ years of experience in senior living, healthcare, caregiving or staffing coordinationExperience scheduling caregivers or clinical staff preferred but not requiredStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and problem-solving skills
