About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with EMR systems Ability to independently manage intubated patients Capability to titrate pressors Description: Position available for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse. Candidates must possess a valid RN license. The role requires experience with EPIC systems. Nurses will be responsible for managing critically ill patients. Patient ratios are typically 2:1, and may be 1:1 for more complex cases. The unit consists of 14 beds and is staffed with 8 RNs per shift. Typical procedures performed include intubation, arterial line insertion, chest tube insertion, and central line insertion. Preference is given to candidates with experience recovering open heart surgery patients. Attire required is navy blue scrubs. This position may require floating to other departments if overstaffed.
