On Call Caregiver

This role is a hybrid position combining caregiving and office support, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM. When a Caregiver calls out, you'll step in to cover that client's shift, making sure our clients never miss the care they depend on. When you're not covering a call-out, you'll work in the office helping answer phones and support day-to-day operations. It's hard to put a price on helping others, but we know how important you are and the value you provide our clients and our team. Responsibilities – Caregiving Coverage (as call-outs occur): Assist with daily living needs (bathing, toileting, ambulation assistance) Companionship care Medication reminders Take clients on walks, trips to social events, assist with hobbies, or run errands Prepare a home-cooked meal (you don't need to be a gourmet chef) Perform light housekeeping A Caregiver will not provide medical, nursing, or skilled services

Responsibilities – Office Support (between call-outs): Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately Provide friendly, professional customer service to clients, caregivers, and families Assist office staff with administrative tasks as needed Communicate clearly with the scheduling team about availability for shift coverage Requirements: High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate Read, write, speak, and understand English Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
