Draft and distribute resident communications, including notices and community‑wide announcements, ensuring residents are informed and messaging is timely, clear, and consistent with housing compliance and company standards. Serve as the acting Property Manager in the Property Manager’s absence, assuming full on‑site responsibility including resident and vendor escalations, weekly and monthly reporting, and overall community operations. Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations and all applicable state and federal laws, ensuring consistent and equitable practices across leasing, resident relations, and operational functions. Manage the full leasing cycle from initial inquiry through move‑in, including conducting tours, processing applications, preparing lease documents, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for incoming residents. Support sales and marketing efforts by keeping online advertising accurate, ensuring unit availability and pricing reflect current market conditions. Conduct regular property walks to assess and maintain curb appeal, common areas, and overall community presentation; identify any needs or concerns and communicate with the Maintenance team. Inspect apartment homes after move‑outs and prior to move‑ins to ensure compliance with company standards. Partner with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders and communication surrounding make‑ready statuses. Adhere to all safety procedures and promptly report any potential safety hazards. Travel to various sites to perform work based on business needs. Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs. Education and Qualifications 2+ years of experience in leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service is required; property management experience is highly preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. An associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus. Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels is highly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including professional verbal, written, and face‑to‑face communication. Ability to navigate difficult conversations with professionalism and composure, effectively de‑escalating conflict and working toward resolution. Demonstrated ability to adapt communication style and approach when working with a diverse range of personalities from a team and customer perspective. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards operationally and professionally. Proficiency in computer and technology skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems and tools. Bilingualism in English and Spanish is a plus. Must possess a high level of integrity and compassion with an emphasis on teamwork, inclusion, growth, and customer service. Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be able to travel to various locations within your area. Must be able to work on‑site; this position is not eligible for remote work. Compensation The compensation for this position is $25 to $29 per hour (depending on experience) plus a $500 monthly driving allowance. In addition to the base pay, this role offers performance‑driven bonuses. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
