Social Skills Teacher - Grades 3-6- Paris

The Oxford Hills School District is seeking excellent candidates for the position of Grades 3-6 Social Skills Teacher at Paris Elementary School. This position focuses on functional skill development. Paris Elementary School is located in South Paris and serves approximately 400 students in grades PreK-6. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with their colleagues to encourage, inspire, and support the learning process for all students. Candidates must be certified (282) Special Educaton in Maine. Reports to: Building Principal/Director of Student Services Work Schedule: 180 days contract Salary: $45,000.00 - $79,539.70* (SY25/26) MSAD #17 offers a robust employee benefits package for full-time employees, including: health insurance with 80% of the premium paid by the employer (with up to 100% if both spouses work in the district); dental, vision, Group Life Insurance; flexible spending and dependent care accounts; Maine Public Employee Pension, 403(b) retirement plan eligibility; 15 paid sick days per year; and tuition reimbursement. OXFORD HILLS REGION

The Oxford Hills School District (MSAD 17) comprises the towns of Norway, South Paris, West Paris, Oxford, Waterford, Harrison, Hebron and Otisfield. MSAD 17 shares vocational resources and accepts students in its Oxford Hills Technical School programs from the RSU10 School District towns of Buckfield, Hartford and Sumner. Oxford Hills/Nezinscot Adult Education is located within the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. The Oxford Hills offer a variety of outdoor resources for anyone wishing to enjoy the region, whatever the season. The area boasts more than ten lakes and ponds for outdoor recreation, a land trust with hundreds of acres for skiing, snowshoeing, and is in close proximity to several downhill skiing areas!
