Position Description: The Facility Solutions Associate I role is focused on conducting and delivering process solutions for the delivery and implementation of facility services and operations. Position Qualifications Possess basic written communications skills and be detail oriented. Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in professional services, construction, maintenance, and operations contracts. Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to function as part of a high-performance team. Working knowledge of facilities operations and building systems. Ability to work collaboratively in mobile work environment. Software proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Project, Word, SharePoint). Essential Duties Work with technical and subject matter experts to support and prepare process documentation in accordance with company guidelines and philosophies. Develop written and graphical materials to support the documentation of systems and solutions. Coordinate with other members of the Solution’s staff. Determine process based on knowledge, experience, and correspondence with design/engineering firms. Read and understand plans and specifications. Researches and collects input from multiple internal and external resources. Understanding of relationships to the ongoing success of Hensel Phelps. Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Light Work. Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The individual in this position will periodically walk, kneel, sit, crouch, reach, stoop, read/see, speak, push, pull, lift, stand, and finger/type. The frequency of each action varies by workflow and office activity. Walking - the person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, boxes, cabinets, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, phone, computer, and computer printer. The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and external stakeholders regarding a variety of topics related to office administration. Constantly computes, analyzes, and conceptualizes mathematical calculations and formulas. Constantly reads written communications and views email submissions. The person in this position regularly sits in a stationary position in front of a computer screen. Visual acuity and ability to operate a vehicle as certified and appropriate. Rarely exposed to high and low temperatures. Rarely exposed to noisy environments and outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
