If you do not address the minimum qualifications in the application, your application will be considered incomplete and will not move forward in the recruitment process.* Phone screen* Supplemental Questionnaire* Oral exam* Consideration of top candidates* Background, reference, and education checksAs the **Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner**, other duties include:* Diagnoses and treats acute and chronic mental health conditions and diseases according to scope of practice across the lifespan to include conducting a medical history, conducting a mental status exam, prescribing mental health treatment* Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, devising a course of treatment, discussing alternative treatment, risk and benefits of treatment, prescribing and monitoring medications, appropriate counseling of patient and reassessment of the patient at appropriate intervals.* Provide patient education on disease treatment options, nutrition, exercise, and health maintenance behavior.* Maintains high quality notes and recommendations for treatment and next steps in the care plan as part of a team-based approach.* Seeks clinical consultation from other clinicians as needed as part of practice management.* Provide consultation to other providers, nurses and support staff.
