Application Security Engineer

One of our large financial clients is looking for an experienced Application Security Engineer to join their team. If the below requirements fit your skillset, feel free to apply.

Duration: Long Term/Multi Year Contract

Location: NYC or San Diego preferred - 100% remote

About the Project

This client has applications that are used by clients and customers that sell in house developed applications to other banks. This person is responsible for patching an application by writing new code and applying it to all of the other products it effects.

About the Environment

GCP
Kubernetes
Terraform
Python/Ruby/Bash
Firewalls and many other tools and practices for layered security

Required Qualifications

5+ combined years of SecOps and DevOps.
AWS, GCP, or similar platforms
Self-sufficiency
Development and scripting experience with languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, Go, and bash.
Knowledge of some configuration orchestration and configuration management tools.
