Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized critical care to patients in intensive care units. The ideal candidate will deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring patient safety and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies following hospital protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and clinical data, promptly reporting any changes or concerns.
• Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation procedures as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery processes.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New York State RN license with primary source verification from NYSED.
• Possess a minimum of two years of critical care experience in an ICU setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
• Certified in AHA BLS and ACLS.
• Associate Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
