Pharmacy Warehouse Coordinator

Position Summar The PharmacyWarehouse Coordinator, under the supervision of a pharmacist, supports the day-to-day activities of the pharmacy department Essential Functions and Duties Pack patient orders for shipment per policy and procedure to ensure all medication, supplies, and durable medical equipment (DME) arrive undamaged. Maintain a clean, orderly, and fully stocked work environment including pharmacy, shipping area and warehouse space. Take cardboard and trash related items to appropriate areas in FFF Warehouse for disposal Assemble shipping boxes and ensure adequate shipping supplies, including boxes, packing material, and ice packs, are always available. Perform clerical duties of department which includes filing of patient chartsand shipping of additional items via FedEx. Participate in mid-year and annual pharmacy inventories. Adhere specifically to all company policies and procedures, federal, state, and compliance requirements /regulations/laws. Education, Knowledge,Skills,and Experience Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent Required Knowledge Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality to the level of required HIPAA standards. Preferred Experience Six (6) to twelve (12) months of shipping experience in a warehouse environment Required Skills Basic level of understanding and use ofcomputersapplications that includMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and internet technologies. Operate office equipment which includes computer,scanner,printer,copier, and phones. Strong organizational skills. Work with a high degree of accuracy in an organized, detail-oriented manner with appropriate follow upasrequired. Proactive approach to managing workload, able to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions. Abletoworkaspart of a team, including on-site and remote teammates. Displayy excellent judgment on a consistent basiswith sound decision-making abilities. Physical requirements Vision, hearing, speech, movementsrequiringthe use of wristshandsand/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen forprolonged periodsand the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability toworkthe hours and daysrequiredto complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled.Must have the ability to lift and maneuver items of at least 50 lbs. Must have the ability to travel occasionally. Workingconditioninclude normal warehousesetting Mental Demands Learning, thinking,concentrationand the ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy times.Must be able to pay close attention to detail andbe able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service.Must have the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers, and exercise self-control and diplomacy in customer and employee relations’situations.Must have the ability to exercise discretion as well asappropriate judgmentswhen necessary.Must be proactive in finding solutions.
