Home Health Aide (HHA) – Private Duty Case

Clinton, NJ 08809 (Primary) + Flemington, NJ 08822 & surrounding Hunterdon County areas

$19/hour starting pay

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) for a consistent private duty assignment in the Clinton, NJ area, with additional opportunities in surrounding Hunterdon County communities.

This is a stable, ongoing case with a consistent weekly schedule and potential for additional hours as client needs evolve.

Schedule

• One consistent 8-hour day shift per week
• Ongoing, stable assignment
• Additional shifts may become available based on client needs and caregiver availability

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and medication reminders (as permitted by care plan)
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Ensure client safety, comfort, and independence
• Assist with client transportation when required as part of the care plan (using the client's vehicle)

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
• 1 year of experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Willingness to assist with client transportation as part of the care plan
• Current physical examination
• TB test (PPD/QuantiFERON) or chest X-ray as required
