Principal Associate, Brand (Auto) Capital One Auto is seeking a creative and customer‑focused Principal Brand Associate to lead event marketing efforts. Job Overview The Associate will develop and execute event strategies that provide iconic in‑person experiences for senior executives, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and external partners. Responsibilities Lead strategic brand development of in‑person event experiences for senior level executives. Develop creative briefs and collaborate with creative partners to bring event strategies to life via engaging experiences. Serve as key liaison and collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Creative, Legal, Third‑Party Vendors, and others. Create white‑glove experiences representative of our brand and a foundation for relationship building. Influence internal decision‑makers with formal recommendations and informal networking through excellent communication and influencing skills. Handle various project‑management tasks, adhering to event timelines and managing event budgets. Act as steward for well‑managed processes, identifying opportunity gaps where uncovered. Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in marketing or brand. At least 5 years of experience in event management or hospitality. Bachelor’s Degree or military experience. Strong organizational and project‑management skills. Experience leading and managing creative processes with creative teams. Ability to autonomously manage details of multiple projects, deadlines, and changing priorities simultaneously while maintaining accurate work. Highly effective communication skills with outstanding writing, editing, and presentation abilities. Strong working knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides). Entrepreneurial spirit, initiative, leadership, creativity, and a balance of proactive and reactive drive for results. Preferred – Master’s Degree. Preferred – 2+ years of experience in Financial Services marketing. Location & Compensation Plano, TX: $109,900 – $125,400 (annual, full‑time). Role eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI). Compensation is offered at the time of hiring.
